The Corona Virus is keeping everyone busy, whether it’s people buying masses of toilet paper, or starting the home office revolution. Many events have been canceled to avoid further spreading of the virus but, meeting UX Designers face to face is still the best way to learn more about User Experience, getting some hands-on experience, and learning more about the people who share the same passion as you.

So don’t be mad thinking all events have been canceled — here are the best UX Design Events that will still be held, even if online, in Europe.

1. UX Copenhagen, Denmark — March 30–31, 2020

The subject of this year’s conference is “Influence & Designing for Good.”
Speakers talk about DesignOps, privilege, tech for social good, futures thinking, ethical OS, designing against domestic violence, and maybe even rocket science!

Two days filled with superb content from 20+ speakers, hands-on workshops, inspiration, networking, new knowledge, and new insights.

Tickets range from around 70 Euros for Speakers Dinner only, up to about 1300 Euro for Full Admission, including Workshop participation.

This Event will be held online due to Covid-19.

2. beyond tellerrand, Düsseldorf, Germany — Apr 27–29, 2020

This is the 10th anniversary of beyond tellerand, and they promise to celebrate ten years of creativity, inspiration, learning, and meeting with a lovely group of people each and every year. The main conference is taking place on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th and as usual, they have lots of workshops and side events planned for their participants.

Two days packed with inspiring and great talks come at a great price of only 299 EUR, and their Pre-Conference Warm-Up (April 26) is even free!

3. From Business to Buttons, Stockholm, Sweden — May 06–08, 2020

From Business to Buttons (FBTB) is Scandinavia’s premier User Experience and Service Design conference, held every year in Stockholm, Sweden. It is the meeting place for everyone who wants inspiration, and hands-on advice, on how to generate business value by creating exceptional experiences.

With prices ranging between 799 EUR and 999 EUR, you will be able to participate in a workshop with Jake Knapp, the inventor of the Design Sprint.

4. The Next Web, Amsterdam, Netherlands — Oct 1–2, 2020

Europe’s Leading Tech Festival comes with a long list of well-known speakers of the industry and a chance to network with possible investors if you’re a startup. They put together 12 themes for their speakers who will discuss trending topics from AI to design — there’s a track for everyone.

With prices ranging between 179 EUR for admission to the Expo only and 949 EUR, which will give you the possibility to network with the speakers, you will be set with the Full Pass at 479 EUR, giving you the best experience.

5. Web Summit, Lisbon, Portugal — November 02–05, 2020

Just like The Next Web, Web summit is more of a tech conference with UX components and possibilities for networking instead of a focused UX conference. Still, the speakers and content, as well as the beauty of Lisbon, are worth every minute.

They have opened up for preregistering and currently offer 2 for one ticket for €950. Sign up for sale on February 13.
